Spring on the Farm

Sam and Jack at the "shantytown" fort.

Jack and I with the "Silkies" variety of chooks. They are truly silky and feel like you are petting a bunny or a cat. I never would have thought a full grown chicken could be so cuddly!

Jake with the "potty" sheep and lamb.

September 1 marked the first day of Spring here and to celebrate, we were invited back to Helen and Alan's farm for the day. We saw loads of baby chooks, a lamb, goats, ponies, a pig, geese, and loads of others I can't even recall. We had a wonderful time with Helen and Alan, Marie, Brigitte, James, Jarrod and Lauren. Thanks for another fabulous visit. We always feel so welcome there! Here are some good pictures from the day - click on them to enlarge!

Jacob and Friends

The citrus bounty they sent us back with from their trees: grapefruit, navel and mandarin oranges! YUM!
